Welcome to Curiosity and Photography, a corner of the internet where you can take a moment to appreciate and learn more about the world around you. 

My name is Meghan, and it is my pleasure to welcome you to my website. 

Curiosity and Photography was originally created in 2017 when I began sharing my photos publically through social media and National Geographic's discontinued "Your Shot Photography" feature on their website. In the years that have followed, my photos have brought joy and peace to many. I have often said that the best part about sharing my photos is that I get to bring a little bit of light into someone's day. 

Over the years, my brand has evolved beyond sharing pretty photos of nature and seasonal scenery. I have focused more on using my platform and photography to educate others about various topics and encourage people to take a closer look at what's happening around them. I have become particularly interested in issues regarding climate change, history, and society. 

I also use my platform to spread awareness about heart health, strokes, Alzheimers, mental health, and migraines, all of which are health conditions that mean a lot to me. 

You may notice in my bios that I often refer to myself as a "Migraine Warrior." This is a phrase I found online which is another way of describing an individual who experiences migraine. By using the term "warrior" rather than "sufferer", I give myself more agency when discussing my 25+ year "battle" with migraine attacks. Migraine is a misunderstood, disabling, physiological condition that must be discussed and researched further. My hope is that by initiating more conversations about the topic, these hopes will become reality. 

All of my photographs were taken and edited by me. Therefore I own the rights to them. My photographs are not to be reshared or used in any way without my explicit permission. Additionally, all blog posts and photojournals were written and published by me. Every external source that was used to fact check or provide further information are referenced. Plagiarism is stealing. 

At this time, none of my work is for sale. My photos are not available for NFTs.
